General Secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana, Anthony Baffoe has attended the FIFA General Coordinators seminar in Zurich ahead of 2016 FIFA tournament.
According to FIFA, in order to ensure that General Coordinators operate under a uniform set of principles and guidelines, every year FIFA gathers the professionals assigned to its tournaments for an intensive workshop.
This year, between 18th and 20th May, Zurich will be hosting the 17 FIFA General Coordinators from across all six confederations who will be working at the Olympic Football Tournaments in Rio de Janeiro, the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia, the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Jordan, the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea and the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan.
For the three days, the General Coordinators will go through theoretical and practical lessons to be well apt with the standard practices of the requirements of their field.
The former Black Stars defender continues to make Ghana and Africa proud on the international stage as he was the match coordinator of the final game of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
