Ex top European football stars have announce their readiness for the Vodafone Unity Cup to be played in Ghana next month.

Already, former Arsenal captain Sol Campbell, former France defender William Galls and Simao Sabrosa of Portugal have confirmed participation.

The latest to confirm participation in the event are former Dutch internationals Jimmy Lloyd Hasslebaink and Edgar Davids.

Other stars shall also be participating in the game include former England strikers Dwight Yorke, Emile Heskey and Jermain Defoe.

The Vodafone Unity Cup will be played to canvass for peace ahead of the 2016 general elections in Ghana.

A world select side led by former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah will play Asante Kotoko on 8th June at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with the same side playing the Black Stars three days later at the Accra Sports Stadium.
