Parading crack tennis stars, Mess Tennis taught their host's vital tennis lessons during the two-day competition, which was climaxed on May Day.
Mess Tennis won the singles 6-1 and repeated the dose on their hapless opponents in the doubles, which they won 5-3.
At the end of two days of hostilities, the away team carried the day with an impressive 11-4 victory, to the chagrin of tennis fans that rallied behind the home team.
