Ex Portugal and Barcelona midfielder Simao Sabrosa will be participating in the 2016 Vodafone Unity Cup games, organizers of the event have confirmed.
Simao will be one of the numerous foreign players who will be teaming up against Kumasi Asante Kotoko and the Black Stars on the 8th and 11th of June respectively.
Already, Nigeria super star, Austin Jay Jay Okacha and former Arsenal and Chelsea defender William Gallas have confirmed participation.
Sol Campbell was the first to confirm participation in the event during the launch a few months ago.
Other international stars expected to confirm their participation in the event include Patrick Kluivert of the Netherlands, Alesandro Del Piero and some former Italian national stars.
The event, under the organization of Premival Media will be the first of its kind in the country.
The Vodafone Unity Cup will be played to canvass for peace for the upcoming 2016 General Elections in Ghana.
