Ghana and Swansea City winger Andre Ayew might have scored a hat-trick but that was not enough to get him a nomination for the clubs player of the month.
The 26-year-old regained his scoring boosts when he bagged a brace in Swansea's 3-1 win over Liverpool last Saturday.
Ayew despite winning the man-of-the-match award in the famous victory was not shortlisted to compete for the player of the month award.
Ecuadorian international Jefferson Montero, Jack Cock and Gylfi Sigurdsson were nominated for the award.
Ayew joined Swansea City from Marseille and has scored ten goals and assisted two.
He was also named the English Premier League player of the month for August.
