Leicester City duo Schlupp, Amartey receive plaudits from Black Stars players after historic Premier League triumph

Several Black Stars players have taken to twitter to congratulate Leicester City pair Jeffery Schlupp and Daniel Amartey after their historic triumph in the English Premier League.

The two players played a part for the Foxes as they secured a historic and famous Premier League crown for the first time on Monday night.

Chelsea did the Foxes a great favour by coming from behind to draw 2-2 at home to Tottenham Hotspur, to hand the trophy to Claudio Ranieri's men.

And while the club has received worldwide praise for their incredible feat, several Black Stars players have added their voices.

Leading the charge is Michael Essien, who also won the Premier League crown with Chelsea as well as other well-wishers from Andre Ayew, Christian Atsu, Jonathan Mensah and others.
