Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew is being investigated by the England FA following an incident in Aston Villa's Premier League game away at Watford.
The Black Stars player jumped over the advertising board to confront Watford fans after Troy Deeney's late winner which handed relegated Aston Villa their 11th successive Premier League loss.
The Ghana international who had been substituted from the game was joined by teammate Idrissa Gana before stewards at the venue removed the players to calm the situation.
The is however no suggestion that any other thing happened aside angry exchange of words but the Football Association are looking into the incident for details.
