Madrid, April 26, (GNA/dpa) - Celta Vigo moved up to fifth in the Spanish Liga Monday with a 2-1 home defeat of lowly Granada, courtesy of a brace from the promising Iago Aspas.

Aspas gave the hosts the lead in the 16th minute with a calm penalty after Cristiano Biraghi clumsily pulled down John Guidetti.

Youssef El Arabi levelled for Granada in the 69th minute by turning in a shot from team-mate Fran Rico, only for Aspas to restore Celta's lead seven minutes later after being cleverly set up by Spain striker Nolito.

The win left Celta just four points behind fourth-placed Villarreal, who were held 0-0 Sunday by Real Sociedad. The team that finishes fourth will enter the qualifying round of the Champions League.

In contrast, Granada are fourth bottom, just one point above Sporting Gijon and Getafe, and four above bottom team Levante.
