Get Behind Michael Osei - Saara Mensah
Kumasi Asante Kotoko legend, Saara Mensah has made a rallying cry to all major stake-holders of Kotoko to get behind their stop-gap coach, Michael Osei as the latter attepts to bring back fortunes.

Kotoko's start of the season has been very disappointing and that has prompted the management board to ask head coach David Duncan to step aside.

Asked if he thinks Michael Osei could suceed, the ex Black Stars goal-poacher said "Why not...firstly, supporters must be patient and more importantly he [Michael] needed to work extra hard to justify the confidence that is reposed in him"

Saara Mensah expects the coach remain competitive in the Ghana Premier League even thought his former team mate faces "tough environment"

"The environment has not changed, expectations are high so it would be just tough for him....but I trust he would succeed" said the burly striker.

It might be premature to sugget that Kotoko have turned the corner but they go into Wednesday's away game agaist Dreams FC with a weight lifted from their shoulders.

The celebration that greeted their win over Liberty Professionals last Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium spoke volumes for the relief around Oseikrom.

Michael Osei was in charge as Kotoko chalked the much-needed victory.

Saara Mensah believes Kotoko can confront their next game with full of confidence

"You can now see the desire and hunger of the boys to go again and push for glory" he observed.
