Koforidua, April 13, GNA - Blue Skies Company, a fruit processing company based Nsawam, in collaboration with the Eastern Regional Volleyball Association, will organize a Volleyball Gala on April 16, at Nsawam, to promote peaceful elections in the Region.
The participating teams include, host Blue Skies Volleyball club, Court Winners of Donkorkrom, reigning Eastern Regional Volleyball league champions and Akwatia Viber hands.
Others are Unity club of Koforidua, Achiase Volleyball club, Hydro Spikers of Akosombo and Nsawam Volleyball club.
Madam Monica Arko Adjei, Coordinator of the Eastern Regional Volleyball and coach of the Regional Sports Authority, in an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA) said, the peace volleyball gala is to create awareness and sensitize the public to promote peace before, during and after the November polls in the region.
She urged all Volleyball fans to come to the Blue Skies Volleyball court on April 16, to cheer their various teams and watch the best of volleyball in the Eastern Region.
