League Report Confirmed: Ex-Hearts trainer Can Vanli seals 2-year deal with Bofoakwa
NOV 27, 2015 LISTEN

Bofoakwa United in their quest to gain promotion back to the Ghana Premier League have appointed Can Vanli.

Vanli was brought into the country by Accra Hearts of Oak to help them beat relegation last season when the league was 5 more matches to end the season, but the Phobians snubbed him for the Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

However, the Turkish who is now in love with Ghanaian football has agreed to help revive Bofoakwa and according to the club's CEO Ernest Osei Boateng they expect him to mastermind their qualification back to the premier league and also secure foreign contracts for their players.

'Bofoakwa have signed a 2-year contract with Can vanli. We expect him to qualify us to the Ghana Premier League and also help some of our players get contracts abroad,' he told Happy FM.

Tano Boafoa suffered relegation in the 2006-07 league season and have since remained in the wilderness of Ghana football, which is division one.
