League Report Resign: Irate Hearts of Oak fans calls for Togbe Afede's exit
NOV 26, 2015 LISTEN

Some sections of Hearts of Oak fans have called for the head of the club's Majority shareholder, Togbe Afede XIV due to the club's inactiveness in the ongoing transfer window.

The Phobians for the past seven seasons have gone trophyless and the club last season nearly got relegated but they survived at the last hour by holding WAFA to a goalless draw game at Sogakope.

Since the club went into floatation and Togbe Afede XIV became the majority shareholder of the club, the better placed position for the club has been at the 3rd position which was in 2013/14 league season.

However, in the ongoing transfer window the Phobians are yet to capture any player which one of the pressure groups of the club called 'Project Phobia'  have expressed their dissatisfaction regarding the club's inactiveness in the transfer market hence they are calling for the head of the majority shareholder.

'Togbe must go. He does not understand football and cannot lead this club,' Maxwell Asabre, Vice-Chairman of 'Project Phobia' told Accra-based Starr FM.

'It obvious the club is broke and we don't have money to buy any quality player to help us this season.

'The Hearts supporters are sick and tired and will not stand aloof again. Since he bought majority shares what have been the results? Absolutely nothing! Nothing is happening and we cannot allow this club to go down.'
