Cutting of sod: Asamoah Gyan to construct Astroturf for Accra Academy

Asamoah Gyan will on Thursday cut sod on the campus of Accra Academy, where he will fund the development of an AstroTurf.

Gyan celebrated his 30 birthday on Sunday in his mansion on the Kasoa road and he on Monday presented a $30,000 cash prize to the Black Queens to for winning the All Africa Games.

The news of his intention to construct an AstroTurf for Accra Academy, where he was trained by the current coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, J.E Sarpong was broken at the GFA secretariat during the presentation of the $30,000 to the Black Queens.

The development of the Astro Turf will add up to the sporting facilities in the country and the Ghana captain's quest to give back to the society will be accomplished.
