CAF Awards: Glo to fly couples to Abuja for 2015 Africa footballer of the year fiesta

Glo is the title sponsor of the yearly awards. The event takes place on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the International Conference Centre, in Abuja, Nigeria and winners in the promo will be airlifted from Accra to Abuja directly and will be accorded treatment 'befitting royalty all the way', Glo officials announced to newsmen today. 

According to Glo, the promo presents a fine opportunity for many subscribers on its network to join football legends, top football administrators like the President of Confederation of African Football (CAF) and acting FIFA President, Alhaji Isa Hayatou, top businessmen and showbiz icons from across the continent and beyond to celebrate the best football stars and administrators in Africa.

Being the single most prestigious football awards platform in Africa, the Glo-CAF Awards has always generated a lot interest among soccer-loving Africans and the continent's telecommunications giant, Globacom, has been its proud sponsor since 2005.
