Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has resumed light training after suffering a hamstring injury in September while playing for Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.
The Ghanaian striker has stepped up his recovery process after weeks of receiving treatment on the sidelines to start some light training in a bid for full fitness.
The Black Stars forward will however not play a part of the game between the senior national team of Ghana and Canada this month as the international friendly comes too soon for the former Sunderland and Al Ain striker.
Official at Shanghai SIPG are however hopeful of Asamoah Gyan's recovery for the final games in the Chinese Super League.
