The seat of Ashanti Kingdom, Manhyia, has ordered Asante Kotoko to refrain from placing an injunction on the 30th Premier League fixtures scheduled for tomorrow, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS has learnt.

The Porcupine Warriors threatened to place an injunction on the league following the deduction of six of their accumulated points by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee for fielding an unqualified player -Obed Owusu- in their match against Accra Hearts of Oak.

As a result, Kotoko sunk so low on the league ladder, occupying the 15th position until they won their last game against Hasaacas to move to the 10th position.

Later, officials of the Red Army filed an appeal to reclaim their lost points and went ahead to give the country's football governing body, GFA, an ultimatum for a verdict on the appeal, before honouring the last league games.

Kotoko further threatened to hit the streets by way of demonstration as well as boycott their last league match against Aduana Stars.

But a club insider said, 'Manhyia has ordered us to stop the court action. Nana and his elders thought it prudent that Kotoko, being one of the biggest clubs in the country, should not hold the entire league to ransom.

'Preparations regarding coronation are far advanced and it will not be proper to make Kotoko a reference point as the cause of such a thing that will dent our league.'

Meanwhile, the struggle for Premiership survival continues tomorrow with BA United already relegated.

So far, relegation is staring New Edubiase, Heart of Lions, Great Olympics and Bechem United in the face.

Olympics will host uncrowned league lords Ashgold at the Accra Stadium, while Hearts of Oak travel to Sogakope to face WAFA.

Relegation threatened sides Lions and Edubiase will battle for survival at Bekwai, with Hasaacas playing as guests of Liberty in Dansoman.

Bechem United will stay home to play their last Premier game this season against Bechem United, with Wa All Stars travelling to the Golden City Park, Berekum, to face Chelsea.
