Alfred Duncan's dream start to the season continues for Sassuolo, as Antonio Floro Flores snatched a late victory away to rivals Bologna on Godfred Donsah's debut.
Donsah started in midfield for the Serie A newcomers and faced Ghanaian international midfielder Alfred Duncan who also started for Sassuolo.
It was extremely hot and humid in Bologna, which did not help the tempo at this early stage of the season.
After the restart Mirante flew to punch away a curling Matteo Politano free kick, but Donsah cut his debut short with a shoulder injury.
With just four minutes to go, Sassuolo took the shock lead at the Dall'Ara. Antonio Floro Flores smashed in a low angled drive and initially there were calls for offside, but the linesman correctly saw the final ball came Bologna player Amadou Diawara.
