Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to showing off his expensive possessions – and no fewer than five of his big-money toys were on display outside his Las Vegas gym during one of his training sessions.
The 38-year-old arrived at the Mayweather Boxing Club in his brand-new $4.8million (£3.1m) silver Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita.
He parked his ‘ultracar’ next to his three Bugatti Veyrons and a white Ferrari before heading inside to train for his fight against Andre Berto on September 12.
The white Bugatti Veyron Sport convertible is worth $2.5million (£1.6m) while the two standard Bugatti Veyrons (one in red and black and one in white and silver) cost $1.5million (£970,000) each. The Ferrari 458 Italia costs somewhere in the region of $300,000 (£200,000).
Earlier this week, Mayweather – who is nicknamed ‘Money’ for his estimated personal fortune of $400million (£258m) – was seen holding a huge wad of cash while punching a heavy bag and saying: 'I need motivation, let me hold it (the money) while I’m training.'
The September 12 fight is his first since beating Manny Pacquiao in May. The clash with Berto is being billed as Mayweather’s last hurrah.
Mayweather has said he will bow out after his 49th fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
On the fight, Mayweather said: 'I’m ready to get back in the ring on September 12 and prove again to the whole world why I’m the best ever.'
'I always bring my A-game and this fight against Andre Berto is no exception. He’s a young, strong fighter who is hungry to take down the best. Forty-eight have tried before and on September 12, I’m going to make it 49.'
