Torric Jebrin has revealed that he could have joined Ismaily a year ago when the Egyptian giants first showed interest in him.

The former Hearts of Oak dribbling whizz kid last week sealed the 3-year deal with the side now coached by former Tottenham Hotspurs and Egypt striker, Ahmed Mido and has been speaking to Allsports.com.gh on his expectations for the 2015/16 Egypt Premier League campaign.

"We first heard from Ismaily over a year ago but I was not so keen on it. In January they sent me a contract and we even discussed with them but it fell through because I was also in talks with (Poland side) Wisla Krakow," Jebrin revealed in an exclusive interview.

Now that he has finally joined Ismaily, the Ghanaian playmaker is relishing the prospect of shining bright in the land of the Pharaoh.

"I am happy to join a big club like Ismaily who are known throughout Africa, like Ghana they are also called the Brazilians of Africa. I believe they will bring out the best in me," Torric told Allsports.com.gh.

"I wish to win titles with Ismaily to make the fans happy, I understand Ismaily fans are so crazy ad love the team till death," the 24 year old continued.

"My fans should keep supporting me with their prayers. They know me and know i have the talent, I will work hard not to let them down," Torric Jebrin said. Follow @thedonplato
