Ace sports broadcaster and commentator Kwabena Yeboah has likened the football artistry of Ghana Premier League side WAFA to European champions Barcelona.
Yeboah was at the WAFA Stadium in Sogakope on Wednesday when they beat defending champions Asante Kotoko 1-0.
'The sort of romanticism and fluidity I saw of WAFA is unbelievable. They have the template of Barcelona and it is a team for the future,' the president of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana told Accra-based Kasapa FM.
'Although they lacked the cutting edge, in terms of territorial dominance they were super. It is only, the first few minutes that I saw Kotoko assert control over the game and created two opportunities, but Dauda wasted them.'
