Players of Accra Hearts of Oak are living in fear following management's decision to hunt for saboteurs in the playing body.

The club had begun investigations to unearth and possibly punish players who don't have the interest of the club at heart.

This followed the emergence of a tape recording which captured voices of some Hearts players who spoke evil about the club.

On the tape, voices of some people, believed to be Hearts players, were heard making a mockery of Hearts' poor form in the league so far.

Some of the players said they would not be surprised if Hearts were relegated at the end of the season.

The Hearts management, who have in their possession a copy of the tape, were said to be very angry about the situation.

The Hearts management therefore initiated investigations to uncover those players who wished evil for the club.

This was said to have ignited tension and fear among the Hearts playing body as the culprits would certainly face the axe.

Speaking on Nhyira FM, Hearts stopper, Philip Boampong, stated categorically that he knew nothing about the leaked recorded tape.

He debunked rumours that he was dropped from the Hearts/Medeama game due to the leaked tape, saying, 'I am sick that's why I was dropped.'
