Former captain of the Black Stars, Stephen 'Tornado' Appiah has revealed how he intends to use the Primeval Media-powered Accra Works Out to get in and stay in shape ahead of his testimonial match slated for June 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

'El Capitano', one of the many accolades he is known by, has confirmed he will be on the Multi-Purpose Court of the Accra Sports Stadium this Saturday, April 25, between 7am and 9am for this month's workout session.

“I'm not missing the next two workouts for all the coffee in Brazil {laughs}, because I want to keep in shape for my testimonial match in June this year.”

Appiah returned in time from his recent tour of Europe for the launch of his testimonial dinner and match – an event which was also planned and organized by Primeval media – at the Accra International Conference Center, and will be one of the several celebrities who have confirmed their participation in this month's Accra Works Out.

Accra Works Out is a monthly aerobic session organized by Primeval Media Ghana Limited for the working class of Accra and is also making the headlines for assembling celebs on the multi-purpose court of the Accra Sports Stadium each month.

Participants are led through various aerobic regimes by highly trained instructors and treated to good music from Cil Sounds, after which healthy bites and natural coconut juice are served. It is free but participants need to call 0244 53 80 87 to register.
