Ghanaian youngster Divine Narh was a surprise omission from Ghana's Under-20 preliminary squad ahead of the 2015 World Youth Championship.

The 18-year-old, who plays for Dutch side NAC Breda, has been one of the standout young Ghanaian players abroad in recent times.

The former Right to Dream Academy product has enjoyed a good run of form in the Dutch top-flight, prompting massive calls for his call-up.

But Ghana Under-20 coach Sellas Tetteh has shockingly left out the talented midfielder from his initial 35-man squad announced on Tuesday.

The Ghanaian trainer has called up 13 foreign-based players which includes Cagliari rising star Godfed Donsah, Ebenezer Ofori, Emmanuel Boateng (Rio Ave), Osei Barnes (Paios Ferriera), Agbenyu Lumor (F.C. Porto) and Emmanuel Ntim (Valenciennes) amongst others.

Tetteh will to select his final 21-man squad for the tournament which will run from May 30 to June 20.
