Accra, March 5, GNA - League leaders, AshantiGold FC will seek to extend their lead when they play as guest of second-placed Aduana Stars in week-10 of the First Capital Plus Premier League (FCPPL), at the Agyeman Badu Park, Dormaa.

The Miners, six points adrift their opponent will attempt to give their title hopes a massive boost and open up a nine point gab ahead of the chasing pack with the full points on Sunday.

Though Aduana lost 2-3 to Hearts of Oak in midweek, fighting till the end of the game will be their aim with their top scorer Richard Arhin and Yakubu Mohammed in fine form.

AshGold have lost once this term but with their host winning all their home games thus far, the Miners will be the first to admit that they face a herculean task of handing the 2010 Premier League winners their first home defeat of the season.

At the Len Clay Sports Stadium, New Edubiase United currently in the relegation zone will welcome sixth-placed Berekum Chelsea to renew their stand in the competition whilst Heart of Lions battles West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) at the Kpando Park.

Whereas Brong Ahafo United host Wa All Stars at the Sunyani Coronation Park, elsewhere at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, caretaker coach Michael Osei will go in search of his first victory in charge of Asante Kotoko when they lock horns with Medeama SC.

Liberty Professionals will play host to Bechem United at the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman.

In other ties, Accra Great Olympics clash with Inter-Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium whilst Sekondi Hasaacas take on Accra Hearts of Oak at the Sekondi Stadium, Essipong.
