#HireTheValley: Charlton confirm sex video was hoax

Kudos to Charlton Athletic, who managed to dupe English football with a clever hoax this week.

After a video of a couple appearing to have sex in the middle of The Valley pitch was published on the Internet earlier this week, the club played dumb, and pretended they were going to investigate it.

But the Championship club have now revealed all, and admitted that it was all a stunt to promote their new campaign, #HireTheValley.

The campaign will allow fans to hire the use of the pitch for grassroots football throughout the month of May, giving them the chance to 'score' for real on the club's pitch, just like the couple in the video stunt.
