Ivory Coast's last seven Afcon goals have come after half-time

Current form and team news
-This is the very first time the AFCON has seen all the four matches in a group ended one all.

-Should the last round of matches end in another one all, the four nations will be tied on points, goals scored and goals conceded, thus the organisers will resort to last tie breaking exercise, which is drawing of lots.

-That would not be unprecedented, with the drawing of lots required at the 1988 Cup of Nations to send Algeria through to the knockout stage at the expense of the Ivory Coast, who had drawn all three of their matches.

Cameroon
-The Indomitable Lions have drawn their last 5 games in all competitions, with the last four ending in one all, including two in the ongoing AFCON

-Cameroon had the better part of the Elephants in group D of the 2015 AFCON qualifier, winning 4-1 in Yaounde and drawing goalless in Abidjan, which propelled them to top the group, with the 1992 champions finishing as runners-up.

-They are ranked number 42 in the world, according to the monthly FIFA ranking

-Aurélien Chedjou (21) has made more than twice as many clearances in this tournament than any other Cameroon player (Raoul Loé and Nicolas N'Koulou, 10).

-Cameroon are set to once again be without midfielder Eyong Enoh, who injured his left thigh in the opening match against Mali.

"We go for a win,'' Cameroon coach Volker Finke said. "But I know we have to work very hard against the ball. There are excellent individual players in the team of Ivory Coast.''

Côte d'Ivoire
-They have won only one of their last six games in all competitions (D3 L2)

-Cameroon had the better part of the Elephants in group D of the 2015 AFCON qualifier, winning 4-1 in Yaounde and drawing goalless in Abidjan, which propelled them to top the group, with the 1992 champions finishing as runners-up.

-The Elephants are rated world number 28
-Ivorian striker Wilfried Bony was the top scoring Premier League player in 2014 with 20 goals, while Yaya Toure was third in this ranking on 17, however they are yet to score in the 2015 AFCON

-Côte d'Ivoire will be without midfielder Cheick Tiote and forward Gervinho, who are both suspended.

-Max Gradel could start after coming off the bench to grab a late equaliser against Mali and Salomon Kalou is also hoping for a recall to the starting XI.

-Coach Herve Renard said: "Cameroon have experienced players in every department. For us, except for Kolo Toure, we have no other experienced defender.

"It is a match that will be decided by little details. Concentration, an ability to take our chances and defensive rigour will all be important. Whichever team shows a little less of these things will go home."
