The chairman of the National chapters committee(NCC) and yet to be confirmed Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr Barimah Attuahene has taken a strong swipe at football agents by tagging them as 'killers' of local talents in Ghana.

Player exodus In Ghana has been on a rise as it negatively affects the quality of football been exhibited in the local league.

But Mr Barimah Attuahene in an exclusive interview with  Allsports.com.gh  during the awards night at the Happy fm sports fans award on Saturday at the World trade center in Accra said - football agents are killing the local talents and it is time those football agents must stop the act of sending pre-mature footballers out of the country.

"It is very pathetic and shame that football agents will just accept small amount of money to push pre-mature players outside the country and by doing so they are killing the local talents because the players they normally send outside are pre-mature players". he fumed.

He opined that he will term the current works of the football agents as slave trade.

"This football agents thinks they are doing a good job but for me i will term their work as slave trade because before a player moves outside that player must be a matured player and something must be done to curb those activities of the so called football agents."
