PSG Prepare Bid For Di Maria

PSG are preparing a massive offer for Manchester United winger Angel di Maria.

The Daily Star says PSG will launch a sensational bid to sign Di Maria next summer – but only if Financial Fair Play regulations are relaxed.

PSG were fined £20m by UEFA in May for breaching FFP rules and warned about their future conduct.

Having already laid out £50m to sign defender David Luiz from Chelsea and another £8m on Toulouse full-back Serge Aurier, PSG chiefs scrapped a big money swoop for Di Maria as it would see them once again breach FFP.

But reports in France suggest that PSG are now hopeful that such sanctions will be relaxed or possibly even lifted ahead of next summer.

Earlier this month, Di Maria hinted that his future may lie in Paris.

“PSG, they had a money problem and they couldn't buy players,” the 26-year-old said.

“It could have been a good experience for me to go to Paris.

“I know I'm still young, perhaps I'll go to PSG one day. I don't know how it will all end.”
