Ghana FA impressed with Jimenez for Black Stars job
21.10.2014 LISTEN

Sources within the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have revealed that Spanish Juan Ignacio Jimenez was impressive with his total presentation and had feasible plans for the senior national team during his interview for the vacant Black Stars job.

It reported the Spanish came on tops with former Switzerland assistant coach Michel Pont coming close with former Chelsea boss Avram Grant  in that order.

But the former Chelsea boss was reported to demand a whopping amount of $150,000 as salary and questions raised on  his possession of an Israeli passport which could prevent him from travelling to Arab speaking countries such as Morocco and Egypt.

Meanwhile, Jimenez during the interview promised the panel to bring the best video analyst in Spain who aided the Spanish team to win the World Cup in 2010 and promised to hold courses for junior national team coaches in the country with a $ 50,000 salary.

Again the  interview panel has forwarded a report to the Executive Committee for a decision to be taken on who deserves to handle the Black Stars. Story by Ghana/Myjoyonline
