In A quest to strengthen their goalkeeping department, Ghana Premier League side Ashantigold are working around the clock to sign national goalie, Fatau Dauda.
Dauda, reports indicate, wants to revive his career in Ghana after an unsuccessful spell in South Africa.
The Black Stars goalkeeper is said to have opened fresh talks with Ashantigold for a possible deal.
No concrete agreement has been reached so far between Ashantigold and the Ghana keeper.
But sources close to the miners' camp said the talks look positive so they would not be surprised if Dauda eventually signs for Ashantigold.
Dauda featured prominently for Ashantigold before he departed to South Africa for greener pastures.
The national goalkeeper's adventure in South Africa has been unsuccessful as he struggled to command playing time with Orlando Pirates.
