Ghanaian midfielder Enock Adu Kofi is seeking for his first Uefa Champions League group stage win with Swedish side Malmo FF as they take on Greek side Olympiakos Piraeus.

The 24-year-old is a sure starter for Åge Hareide's side as they host the Greek Super League title-holders at the Swedbank Stadion on Wednesday night.

“It's not going to be an easy game for us but we believe we can do better. In the Juventus game we showed a lot of spirit and if we approach the game with the seriousness it deserves we can get good results,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Adu has been influential for Malmo since arriving at the club in the summer from Belgian side Club Brugge after completing his loan spell with Norwegian side Stabaek.

Malmo are in firm control to retain their league title after opening a nine-point lead at the top of the table.

“If we continue to play the way we have been playing and keep our focus we can retain the league,” he added.
