Ex-Ghana goalkeeper Joe Carl wants Razak Brimah to be left out of Ghana's squad ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea next month.

Brimah, who plays for Spanish Mirandes FC has recovered in time to make the country's squad ahead of the trip to Casablanca for the first leg tie.

The former Nania FC shot-stopper must fend off competition from returnee Adam Kwarasey, Fatau Dauda and Stephen Adams to make the final cut.

Former Black Stars goalkeeper Joe Carl wants Brimah dropped for the first and second leg ties in Casablanca and Tamale respectively.

“If you ask me I think Maxwell Konadu should drop Brimah,” he said

“He should stick with Kwarasey, Fatau and Adams for the two legged ties.

“They have been around for a while and deserve to be in there.

“Razak is a promising talent but his qualities cannot be compared to the other goalkeeper at the moment.

“We can look at him for the future. But he should not be invited for the game against Guinea.

Mounting reports have claimed caretaker coach Maxwell Konadu will hand call-ups to the quartet.
