Berekum Chelsea striker Latif Salifu has revealed he is yet to fully recover from a career threatening injury he picked last season.
The former Ghana U20 striker has been sidelined when he suffered the injury during up in a league game against Amidaus Professionals last season.
The 23-year-old was expected to return to action before the end of the 2013/2014 season but developed complications that have slowed his recovery after a successful knee operations.
“I have gone through a lot since I picked up the injury but slowly it's all coming out well,” Salifu told GHANASoccernet.com
“I still feel some pain but it's not as it was before so I am confident to be ready for the season starter.”
