Ghana and Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams has revealed he draws inspiration from 2014 World Cup winner Manuel Neuer.
Adams, who was named the best goalkeeper for the 2013/2014 Ghana Premier League, watched his mentor during Ghana's clash with Germany at the World Cup.
“As for me Manuel Neuer is the best in the world and seeing him and talking to him during the world cup was something special,” he told GHANASoccernet.com
“I spoke to him yes, and he advised me and also encouraged me to strive to be the best since I had all attributed needed to be the best.
“The special part was when he said he had looked at my clips before the game as part of their preparations I was really happy he also took notice of me.”
