Asante Kotoko midfielder Rahim Ayew says he will wait for an offer from the club over his contract extension before considering offers elsewhere.
The 26-year-old has just three months left to run on his current deal with the champions.
There were talks at the tail end of last season he could be making a return to Europe where he last played for SK Lierse in 2013.
But the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele says he will wait for an offer for a contract renewal at Kotoko before assessing other options.
“My contract with Kotoko ends in November so I will wait and see what the club has to offer,” he told MTNFootball.com.
“There are some [external] offers but like I said I will wait to see what Kotoko has to offer before making a decision on whether to stay or leave.”
Ayew has been one of the most versatile players at Kotoko – being mostly deployed in the full-back positions despite being a natural midfielder .
