Media relation officer for Berekum Arsenal Mr. Evans has alleged that, the referee who officiated their game against BA united was paid GHC 8,000 plus car to officiate against them.

2014 Division one play off ended on saturday, 2nd August, which saw BA united topping zone one to qualify for the FCP premier league next season.

Berekum Arsenals early petition against BA united to the disciplinary committee of the Ghana football Association for fielding an unqualified player in their match day one.

Awal Mohamed P.R.O for BA united debunked the report, and stated that they took the right steps, so there is no cause of alarm..

Mr. Evans believes the referee (Daniel Laryea) who officiated their game was manipulate by Berekum Arsenals

"Our game against BA united, we heard the referee was paid GHc8,000 plus car"

He told Akumdan based station CRUZ 96.9 FM
"Looking at what happen in our game against BA united was not fair to Ghana football. on the grounds were we are playing, there must be fairness"

"He (referee) denied us in soo many opportunities which cause us"

"Referee sometimes make mistakes even in the highest level, but this case it was a deliberate action and nothing can be done to it"

BA United join the likes of Accra Great Olympics and Gomoa Feteh Feyenoord in the 2014/2015 season..
