Michael Essien's Manager, Fabrizio Ferrari, has hinted that the player is not finished yet as speculated in some circles.

He told SportsItalia that the Ghana and AC Milan midfield enforcer, who saw little action in the Brazil World Cup, is a fantastic star when healthy, and still has a lot up his sleeves.

The former Chelsea star's future with the Italian giants would be decided by new manager, Inzaghi, 14 days from now, before the summer market ends.

The player's manager said: 'I spoke today with the agent of the Ghanaian.

And he said before anything that he wanted to speak with Milan coach, Pippo Inzaghi, and begin pre-season with Milan before figuring out where they go next.'

'I think within a fortnight, we will meet to understand the situation. He'll take fifteen days to figure out how he will fit in this new project.

'He is a player with great international experience. If healthy, I think he can still give a lot.'

Last January, Essien moved to the San Siro on a free transfer and featured seven times for the club.

He is part of the Inzaghi men currently touring the United States of America.
