Fernando Torres
AS Monaco are reportedly lining up a £20 million bid for Chelsea forward Fernando Torres.

Chelsea are willing to part ways with the player who signed for the club in a £50 million transfer deal from Liverpool if the money is right.

Spanish La Liga Champions Atletico Madrid are also interested but do not have the funds to go ahead with the deal.

Santi Cazorla
Santi Cazorla is edging closer to a move away from Arsenal as Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is confident of landing the Spanish star.

Arsenal are serious about the transfer signing of Manchester City playr Matija Nastasic. The English Premier League Champions have received offers for the Serbian and are weighing their options for the Serbia international.

Arsenal are set to lose Thomas Vermaelen due to interest from Manchester United and will need a replacement.

Arsene Wenger sees the Manchester City youngster as a good prospect but Manchester City might be unwilling to sell to their direct opponents with Inter Milan and Roma also reported interested.

Xherdan Shaqiri
Juventus have stepped up their chase for Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri despite the German club insisting the Switzerland international is one for the future.

Liverpool have also been linked with the player who scored a FIFA World Cup hat-trick with just his left foot.

The player though on contract with Bayern Munich until 2016 has not ruled out a move away from the German Champions. Shaqiri told Tuttosport:

'I'm having holidays and I don't know what will happen. The only sure thing is that I have a deal until 2016 with Bayern. We will see in a short time.

'Juve? I don't know if there are contacts with them or with Liverpool and Monaco. Surely Juve could be a good option so as Liverpool and Monaco.

'They are a big club, who wouldn't like to play there ? I'm a Bayern player but I wouldn't see Bianconeri as a step backward for my career.'

Ron Vlaar
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has insisted captain Ron Vlaar will be staying at the club for the next season. The Netherlands international impressed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament and has been liked with a move to Manchester United where the Dutch boss for the tournament is now head coach.

Paul Lambert however has denied claims saying:
'He has one year remaining on his contract — and he is staying here. Ron is not only an Aston Villa player, he is our captain.

'We will be talking with him in due course about extending his deal and we are confident those talks will be positive.

'Ron has always said that he is really happy here — and has done nothing to suggest anything has changed.

'None of this speculation is coming from him, or anyone connected with him. We aren't selling. It is as simple as that.'

Javier Manquillo
Liverpool are very close to signing Atletico Madrid right-back Javier Manquillo. The 20-year-old will sign a two-year loan deal with an option to make it permanent in a £6 million transfer package.

Manchester United players
All the current Manchester United players are prone to a transfer away from the club after new boss Louis Van Gaal revealed players would have to adapt to his style to have a chance of staying.

The boss said when asked about players that could be leaving the club specifically Javier Hernandez:

'I want to learn about my players and get to know them. When I am the coach and when I give the orders to my players to play a certain way, I want to see how they perform.

'That is why I cannot answer this question just now. I want to give all players the chance to show themselves under my guidance.

'We have to see. It is the same answer that I give, but I have to see what I can from him.

'He shall come this evening, I will meet him and we shall train. He will perform in a match and after that I can talk about him.'

Gylfi Sigurdsson
Swanse City are close to signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gylfi Sigudsson.

The player has completed his medical with the Wales club and the deal is set to be officially announced soon.

Goalkeeper Michel Vorm and left-back Ben Davies could also be heading the other way to the London club.
