Following several weeks of search for a coach, the Phobians have finally appointed Herbert Addo as the next gaffer of the club.

Sources close to Allsports.com.gh can confirm that the former coach of the Black Stars has been offered a two year contract, with a salary of GHC 8,000 a month and an enticement fee of GHC 25,000, which will make him the highest paid club coach in Ghana at the moment.

The Administrative Manager for Hearts of Oak, Hackman Aidoo has confirmed that the naming of the head coach will be done on Thursday, but failed to either establish or deny the appointment of Herbert Addo as the next coach of the club.  He has also stated that they have appointed a goalkeepers' trainer who will also be named plus the head coach on Thursday

'It is most likely that the head coach for Hearts of Oak will be named on Thursday, but I am not ready to confirm whether it is Herbert Addo or not,' Hackman Aidoo told Allsports.com.gh.

'Meanwhile we have appointed a goalkeepers' trainer, whose name will be made public on the same day that the head coach will be named.

'Everything is set and we are preparing their appointment letters.'

This is Herbert Addo's second coming to Hearts of Oak, winning the league title in his first season in 2002.
