Trouble: Sports journalist curses GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi

This said meeting was convened by Dan Kwesku  Yeboah, an ace journalist, who is the head of Sports for Peace fm between his panel members and some GFA members.

The meeting was attended by the GFA boss, Sanni Darra, (GFA Communications Director), George Afriyie (GFA Emergency Committee member). The rest were Dan Kweku Yeboah (Sports Journalist), Kofi Appiah (Sports journalist), Anim Addo (Sports Journalist), James Oyedeji (Football Administrator) and Osei Kofi (Former Black Stars player), all panel members who appear regularly on Peace fm Thursday Sports Show, which Kweku Yeboah happens to be the host.

The head of Sports for Peace fm, arranged that meeting to enable Kwesi Nyantakyi explains to him and his panel members, the events that led to the Black Stars failure to progress pass the group stage of the FIFA World Cup for the very first time in their three campaigns, because he was not in the country when the GFA held a press conference after the Black Stars elimination. 

However, the aftermath of a successful meeting was marred by the GFA boss accusation of Kofi Appiah for taking a picture of the meeting, which is being used as an evidence of attempted bribery  by journalist against former, thus influencing the latter to invoke curses.

Kofi Appiah believes that Nyantakyi, despite having apologized to him would pay a big price for accusing him wrongly by either losing his position as the GFA president or would be found guilty of the match fixing scandal levelled against the Ghana FA.

'I had a call from Kwesi Nyantakyi accusing me that I took a picture of an arranged meeting we had with him plus Sanni Darra and George Afriyie, which is being used as evidence of an attempted bribery against him by a section of the media,' he told Metro fm.

'I asked him, if he was sure of his allegation against me and he said during the meeting I removed my phone, so I am responsible for the picture which is being used to accuse him of attempting to bribe us.

'My reaction to the GFA president was that he would come back apologizing and lo and behold he did that.

'However I told him God is going to deal with him for accusing me falsely and I called George Afriyie and Sanni Darra that they should tell Kwesi Nyantakyi that, he is going to pay a big price for perpetrating falsehood against me.

'He is going to either lose his GFA presidency or would be found guilty of the match fixing allegation leveled against the GFA.'
