Germany coach Joachim Low admits to a tough game against Ghana in the thrilling 2-2 draw of the second Group G game at the 2014 World Cup.
The Black Stars excelled against the European giants and were just unlucky not to have come away with all three points in the game played on Saturday evening in Fortaleza.
Ghana, coming from a disappointing opening defeat to the USA rallied from a goal down to being close to a famous win over Germany before a highly friendly crowd.
Andre Ayew canceled out a Mario Goetze opener and Asamoah Gyan put the Black Stars into the lead nine minutes later.
Substitute Miroslav Klose then equalized for Germany but there were a plethora of chances thereon for either side to win the game.
Ghana most probably got the best of exchanges but couldn't finish to pick a vital point off the three-time winners and earned the respect of their coach Joachim Low.
“We led and that was good for us but Ghana attacked and threw everything at us and they had three players who were strong upfront,” the German trainer said.
“But we were also unable to make good use of our counter attacks.”
Ghana now have just one point after two games in Group G and is now hoping Portugal keep them alive by beating the United States in the group's other game on Saturday.
