President-General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, RafiuLadipo, says the Super Eagles of Nigeria will fly higher to the Semi -final stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Nigeria is one of the five African countries representing the continent at the Mundial and has been tipped to make a statement at the World stage after conquering Africa last year to win the AFCON 2013 in South Africa.

RafiuLadipo, who will lead a good number of Nigerian supporters to the tournament, is hopeful that the current Nigeria squad is a more determined side and would make Nigeria proud.

' My super Eagles will not only play well, they will shock the world, they will go beyond the first round, the second round, play in the quarters, play in the semi and possibly play in the finals'

'All we need to do is to get our apt together, because now the players we are presenting are young boys who are willing to write their names in gold and I can see the spirit of Nigerianism in them and them they will all go out for gold'. He told Asempa sports.

The supporters' chief as part of his efforts to play a role in Nigeria's campaign, recently travelled to Brazil to mobilize Nigerians living in Brazil to come on board and push the Super Eagles to victory as he lamented the low patronage of the World Cup tickets for Nigeria's group games by football fans in Nigeria and is confident they will surely support well.

'We supporting them will not relent; you know our system we don't only go to the field and sing, we fast and pray and we cheer our team to victory, and that's what is going to happen in Brazil'

Nigeria is in group F alongside Argentina, Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina and will start their campaign on June 16 against Iran.
