The ex-Standard Liege centre-back who has spent two seasons on loan at the Turkish side has not hidden his intention to secure a permanent move away from Everton FC, a team he joined from Olympique Marseille of France in 2002.
Reports in the Turkish media have it that only minor details remain to be sorted out for the deal to see the light of the day.
Complete Sports further gathered that Yobo's advisors and officials of Fenerbahce as well as Everton chiefs have agreed on a transfer fee for the Nigerian captain and he is now to resume pre-season training on Monday.
Yobo was spotted at the Nigeria Football Federation Glass House on Wednesday in Abuja, where he had gone to parley with NFF President, Alhaji Aminu Maigari.
