THE BLACK Stars yesterday had the privilege of having the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, watch their training from the touchline.
The Asante Monarch, dressed in suit and accompanied by some of his officials stormed the Baba Yara Stadium around 5.00pm.
In his entourage were the GFA President Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi and other football gurus in the region.
The unannounced visit by the King would definitely serve as a morale booster for the Black Stars ahead of their contest with Lesotho.
Ghana Stars Dede Ayew who was watching the training from the stands was the first to welcome Otumfuo with a handshake.
The Asantehene, who is noted for his passion for sports, then sat at the touchline with the GFA president and other officials to watch the training, which was the team's last ahead of the Lesotho game.
