The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is delighted that for the first time in the history of Ghana football, young Ghanaian players have held discussions with a sitting United Kingdom Prime Minister.

Prime Minister David Cameron invited players from the Right to Dream Academy of Ghana to Number 10, Downing Street yesterday.

Mr Cameron held discussions with the young Ghanaian players in the cabinet office on development issues in Africa, European politics and football.

The GFA is happy that the Ghanaian players effectively engaged Mr. Cameron in the discussions and brought to the attention of the Prime Minister some of the issues affecting the youth in Africa.

Trips like this are a key part of Right to Dream's bigger vision to create educated footballers who have a better understanding of their position as role models to the African continent.

This falls in line with the GFA's new policy of making sure that children in Ghana combine football with education.
