Sulley Muntari has joined Milan on loan from city rivals Inter, the Rossoneri have confirmed on Tuesday afternoon.
The 27-year-old Ghana international was expected to switch San Siro sides at the end of the season, but the move has been brought forward.
He is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations where he is with Ghana who are seeking to end a 30-year-old wait for the African title.
Muntari has played in all two of the Black Stars matches at the tournament
The midfielder, who spent part of last season on loan at Sunderland, joined Inter in 2008 from Portsmouth.
Muntari has also played for Udinese in Italy.
