In its bid to reach a wider sporting populace for the forthcoming Olympic Games, African Origin Travels and Sports Tourism, official ticket reseller for the London 2012 Games, has announced the sale of the tickets on its website-www.ao-tours.com/store.
Speaking to DAILY GUIDE SPORTS, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of African Origin Travels and Sports Tourism Samson Deen noted that the initiative forms part of his company's efforts to reach out to the larger community interested in the upcoming Games.
For now, tickets for football are sold out, but Deen revealed that he has some more (2,300) for other disciplines which clients can apply for online.
Responding to how tickets applicants can acquire visas for the Games, he mentioned that the UK Boarder Agency has announced that the applicants can apply for their UK Visas on April 1.
He added that interested applicants can buy their tickets and apply for their own Visas.
Meanwhile, African Origin will fly out a team of journalists and supporters for the Equatorial Guinea/ Gabon Nations Cup this Thursday.
The 28 th African Cup of Nations begins this Saturday to February 12. Ghana, paired alongside Botswana, Guinea and Mali take on Botswana in their first game on January 24.
