The Confederation of African football technical committee member Ben kouffie has warned the Black stars to guard against complacency in the upcoming African cup of nations in Guinea and Equatorial Guinea.
The Black Stars have been drawn in a group which has been described as the easiest in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament. Ghana will play Mali, Botswana and Guinea in Group D. The senior national team is believed to be the strongest team in the upcoming tournament in the absence of record winners' Egypt, Cameroon and Nigeria.
Ben Kuoffie in an interview with JOY Sports stated his optimism of Ghana's chances at the tournament but insists the Black Stars must be determined and thread cautiously to take each game serious at the tournament.
“It's relatively a good group but I think we have to be careful because there are ambitious teams in it, if we underestimate any team we will be disappointed” Ben Kuoffie told JOY Sports.
The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations which will be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea will kick off on 12th January 2011.
