Former assistant coach of Aduana Stars, Ben Zola insists newly promoted Wassaman United has the quality to make a mark in the top flight next season.
Ben Zola, who is close to joining the Wassaman's technical team, helped legendary coach Herbert Addo to scout for the club in the off-season and says 2006 Premier League best player Kweku Essien and three time goal king Ishmael Addo formerly of Hearts of Oak are among the high profile players in the team.
Coach Ben Zola is sure the club will be the surprise package of the new season. He told JOY Sports, “With the kind of I saw in the team during the justify-your-inclusion exercise, I tell you with little motivation they will be a great side in the new season. The new and old players have the quality to do wonders.”
Wassaman United will begin their campaign against Heart of Lions at the Kpando Park on October 9.
