The 2010 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee South Africa (OC) would like to welcome Korea DPR who arrived in the country this morning (1 June) for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
“I would like to welcome Korea DPR to South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and we wish them well for their second World Cup appearance. Their first one in 1966 certainly proved to be an exciting one when they managed to beat Italy 1-0, getting to the last eight of the tournament,” said OC Chief Executive Officer, Dr Danny Jordaan.
“It is great for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to come to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and we have a great desire for success in the tournament,” said Korea DPR coach, Kim Jong Hun.
